What Makes a Good Ultra Violent Pattern?
The Sport Gloves | Ultra Violent is one of those skins where the pattern ID changes everything. Some patterns are dominated by deep, vibrant purple. Others lean heavily into bright blue. And most are somewhere in between.
There are basically two types of patterns people hunt for:
- Max Blue — Bright blue dominates both hands, minimal purple showing
- Max Purple — Deep purple coverage across both gloves, minimal blue
One important thing to understand: a completely pure blue or pure purple glove does NOT exist. There will always be some color mixing, especially around the fingers. That's just how the texture works.
So the best patterns focus on balanced color distribution, strong symmetry between both hands, and minimal color bleeding. Since you see both gloves in-game, a pair where one hand is blue and the other is purple will always look worse than a balanced pair — regardless of how good one hand is.
💙 Max Blue Patterns
Max Blue patterns are the most popular for players who want a bright, clean blue appearance. These have maximum blue coverage, minimal purple intrusion, and strong visual symmetry across both hands.
🏆 Tier 1 — Best Max Blue
These are widely considered the best Max Blue Ultra Violent patterns. Extremely strong blue coverage, minimal purple on the glove body, and good symmetry between both hands.
Example: Pattern #344
Pattern #344 is one of the cleanest Max Blue seeds available. Blue dominates both gloves with very little purple bleed. This is the type of pattern that sells above market and gets collectors excited.

These typically sell above market price.
🥈 Tier 2 — Good Max Blue
Still very strong blue patterns, but with slightly less coverage, more visible purple, or minor symmetry differences compared to Tier 1.
Example: Pattern #715
Pattern #715 still looks blue-dominant in-game, but you can see a bit more purple compared to the cleanest Tier 1 seeds.

Usually sells at market price or a small premium.
💜 Max Purple Patterns
Max Purple patterns sit on the opposite end. These feature deep, rich purple coverage with minimal blue showing. They're especially popular with players who prefer darker inventories or purple-themed loadouts.
Just like with Max Blue — a perfectly pure purple glove does not exist. There will always be some blue present.
🏆 Tier 1 — Best Max Purple
These are considered the best purple-dominant Ultra Violent patterns. Strong purple dominance, minimal blue around the wrist, and a clean upper glove area.
Example: Pattern #665
Pattern #665 is one of the strongest Max Purple seeds. The purple coverage is deep and consistent across both hands with very little blue bleeding through.

These typically sell above market price.
🥈 Tier 2 — Good Max Purple
Still desirable purple patterns, but usually with slightly more blue near the wrist, less consistent purple coverage, or minor symmetry differences.
Example: Pattern #653
Pattern #653 still reads as purple-dominant, but has a bit more blue showing compared to the cleanest Tier 1 seeds.

Usually sells at market price or a small premium.
📋 TL;DR — Quick Pattern Summary
Best Max Blue: 344, 764, 542
Best Max Purple: 665, 503, 45
🔬 How We Ranked These Patterns
To figure out the best patterns, every single seed was analyzed using a structured approach:
- Pixel-by-pixel color analysis — measuring purple vs blue coverage across the entire glove
- Symmetry check — how balanced the colors are between left and right hand
- Manual visual inspection — because numbers don't tell the whole story, every pattern was also visually reviewed
Inspect images were provided by cs2inspects.
💰 Are Tier 1 Patterns Worth More?
Usually — yes. Tier 1 patterns get higher prices because of better color coverage, higher demand, and collector appeal. But price also depends on float, wear condition, and what buyers are currently looking for.
A Tier 2 pattern with a very low float can sometimes sell for more than a Tier 1 with worse wear. So don't just look at the pattern — check the full picture.
